Bought a Single Family home in 2015 in West harpeth, Franklin, TN.Local knowledgeProcess expertiseResponsivenessNegotiation skillsHad a horrible experience with her in which I lost 5,000. She wrote a contract that left me no way out of our large earnest money (her recommendation). She knew the seller and seemed to benefit her more that us. I would never recommend her or use ...Response from Mary Suto on 7/6/2023
Please note this review was submitted several months AFTER this transaction when the reviewer called myself & the seller directly with what appeared to be severely unethical means to secure any portion of earnest money forfeited and threatened bad reviews/complaints would follow. The amount of earnest money ($5000j was submitted at the direction of the buyers (they suggested the amount as it was to be a cash deal) on a nearly $400,000 house. The buyers backed out of the contract prior to closing & after all contingencies were legally satisfied. The “Release of Earnest Money” to the seller was signed by ALL required parties (including the Buyers’ side). A return of the earnest money was requested, however the seller decided not to return the earnest money based on those facts. Of particular note is this reviewer was not even an official party to the transaction and did not sign a single thing associated with the contract (it was a family member). They also filed a complaint with the State of TN which was promptly dismissed. Unfortunately, things do happen during the course of a transaction, and in this case the buyers signed & agreed to forfeit their earnest money of their own volition in order to move forward with alternate plans. Zillow was asked to remove this unsubstantiated review based on all these facts, and refused.
